President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Al-Marjani Mosque and the building of the Religious School for girls of the Kazan Diocese and took part in the discussion about plans for further development of the mosque and the religious school.

The meeting of the City Duma took place in Kazan on February 18. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev attended the meeting. The main point on the agenda was the report by the Mayor of Kazan on his work last year.
