A letter from Czechia President Vaclav Klaus was received by Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, as the President’s press-service informs. Vaclav Klaus thanks RT President for the hearty reception that was shown to him and the Czech delegation in Tatarstan. “I and my spouse received many impressions. Although I know many parts of Russia, the visit to dynamically developing Kazan made a strong impression,” – the letter states.

Tatarstan President, Mintimer Shaimiev, took part in the opening ceremony of the building of brick plant “Kluchishinskaya ceramics”. The customer and investor of the project is CJSC “FON”. The cost of the project is 700 million rubbles; 350 million rubbles were spent on equipment of brick’s producing.

April 29 has seen talks of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and Czech President Vaclav Klaus taking place in the fireplace room at the Kazan Kremlin. Mr. Vaclav Klaus is visiting Kazan during his trip to the Russian Federation.
