The 27th session of the RT State Council of the third convocation was held in Kazan. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the session.
November 14, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening of the new hotel-trade-entertainment complex, “Korston”, in Kazan.
Taking part in the opening ceremony were: the Governor of the Kostroma oblast, Mr. Viktor Shershunov, the Chairman of the RF State Duma Commission fro fighting corruptin, Mr. Mikhail Grishanov, the RT First Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ravil Muratov, the RT Deputy State Council Chairman, mr. Alexander gusev, the Mayor of Kazan, Mr. Ilsur metshin, the Presdient of group of companies “Korston”, mr. Anatoly Kuznetsov.
November 8, the Kazan Kremlin, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan met with the Russian four-times field hockey champions of Dinamo-Kazan field hockey team. In the ceremonial hall of the Kazan Kremlin the RT President presented the players with state awards and certificates of granting them honorary titles of the Republic of Tatarstan.
November 7, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening ceremony of the Memorial complex “History of Statehood of Tatar people and the Republic of Tatarstan” at the Kazan Kremlin. The new complex includes constructions that are intertwined in their history and architecture: the Syuyumbike tower, building of the former Palace church and official residence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. The historical place of where the Khan Palace and mosque used to stand, the necropolis of Kazan khans defined the choice of the place for the Museum-memorial complex.
November 3 saw an award ceremony taking place at the Kazan Kremlin and dedicated to winners and laureates of 4th Republican contest “Man-golden heart”. Awards were presented by RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, RT First Deputy State Council Chairman Ravil Muratov.
