On September 14, in Chelyabinsk the memorandum on cooperation between the Chelyabinsk oblast and the Republic of Tatarstan was signed. The document was signed by Governor of the Chelyabinsk oblast P.Sumin and President of Tatarstan M.Shaimiev. Two regions are united by friendly, mutually advantageous relations. They started to develop more actively after the contract on mutual cooperation was signed in December 2000. The memorandum presupposes further development of trade and economic, scientific and technical, social and cultural cooperation.
