The Days of Germany with a motto of Future together are held in Kazan from April 20 to 26. The Days will include several events, the RT ministry of Culture reports, starting with an opening of the exhibition of posters dedicated to the youth. Consultations and guided tours will be organized, and German teachers will receive various teaching materials.
The Tatneft Tatar geological exploration division has prepared for state expert review the exploitation resources of subterranean waters, to be supplied to the near districts in the amount of 15.1 thousand cubic metres a day.
The Republic of Tatarstan higher education institutions and Colorado State University (the US) can establish exchange of students and instructors. This opportunity was discussed at a meeting of Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and Dean of Colorado State University College of Business Ajay Menon at Tatarstan Cabinet of Minister on April 17.

April 17, Kazan Kremlin. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev conducted a joint meeting of counter terrorism commission for Republic of Tatarstan and RT operational headquarters. The issue on the agenda was "Supplemental measures on prevention of terrorism and strengthening public safety during preparation to and conducting 'Day of Spring and Labor' and the 64th anniversery of the Victory Day celebrations".
The Republic of Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Ilhomjon Nematov at Tatarstan Government House on April 16.
Tatarstan financial, treasury and tax authorities on Thursday held a meeting at the premises of the Cabinet of Ministers. The meeting discussed the results of performing against the 1st quarter budget plan and tasks for 2009 related to budgeting.

To put Russian civil helicopters including Kazan's Ansat on markets of Latin America is one of the tasks the Helicopters of Russia company is tackling.
The opening of the International Forum “The Development of the CIS innovation space. Role and place of chambers of industry and commerce of the CIS member-countries” took place in Kazan on April 16. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the RT Presdient in the Vlga Federal District Grigory Rapota, President of the RF Chamber of Industry and Commerce Evgeny Primakov, RT Prime-minister Rustam Minnikhanov, RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the RT Chamber of Industry and Commerce Shamil Ageyev were present at the opening ceremony.
The Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Ravil Zaripov will on Wednesday meet with the delegation from China’s Shandong province, led by the mayor of Liaocheng Song Yuanfang. The parties are to exchange information and to discuss possible areas for cooperation, said the ministry’s press service.
The head of the Republic of Tatarstan Government Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Auchan company’s heads (France) on April 15 at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers. Auchan Russian Director General Jean Pierre Germain expressed the company’s interest in being presented in Tatarstan retail market.
