The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, signed on July 30th laws of the Republic of Tatarstan “Amending Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On governmental posts in the Republic of Tatarstan" and "On fulfilling the budget of the Fund on mandatory medical insurance in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2007.”

The RT President, Mintimer Shaimiev, looked over Elabuga’s City House of Culture exposition on RT’s industrial enterprises on July 31st. After the exposition, the head of the republic took part in RT’s Cabinet of Ministers visiting session to discuss the “Results from RT’s industrial enterprises in the 1st half of 2008 and the task on effective RT economic development.”

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, took part in a meeting, held in Nizhnekamsk on July 31, to discuss issues concerning charity work.

The RT President, Mintimer Shaimiev, began a 2-day visit to the Nizhnekamsk Region and Yelabuga on July 30.

RF Minister of Internal Affairs, Rashid Nurgaliev, is continuing his working trip in Kazan. On the morning of July 30th, the head of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs and RT President, Mintimer Shaimiev, paid a visit to the Video-monitoring centre of the RF Road Police in RT and the stationary police post “Kol’tso”.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rashid Nurgaliev, and the head of the Department of Road Safety of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs, Victor Kurianov, arrived in to Kazan on July 29. At the international airport of Kazan, the high-profile guests were welcomed by RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Minister of Internal Affairs, Asgat Safarov, and senior management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs around RT.

July 28, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, M. Sh. Shaimiev, met with the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, S.V. Stepashin.

July 26, RT President, Mintimer Shaimiev, signed laws of the Republic of Tatarstan on the affirmation of transferring (distributive) acts of estate liability of local autonomous entities of the “city of Naberezhny Chelny”, Chystopol, Rybno-Slobodsky, Arsky, Sabinsky, Tetyushsky, and Alekseevsky municipal regions and entities, performed on the given municipal districts the right to determine issues of local assignment, which will allow to determine estate liability of the local autonomous entities of the aforementioned municipal districts, handed down through a succession in title.
