From September 9, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev leaves for vocation. The head of the Republic stated this information visitng the Kazan 1000th Anniversary Park.

“The time has come to broaden all that was done in our social sphere. The country can allow itself it now”, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev commented September 8 the recent statement of RF President Vladimir Putin.

On September 8, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin visited Kazan 1000th Anniversary Park.

A letter addressed to RT President has been received from RF Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, saying words of gratitude and acknowledgement for the perfect organisation of the CIS events on 26-27 of August, 2005.

A letter addressed to RT President Mintimer Shaimiev was received from Executive Committee Chairman – Executive Secretary of the CIS V.B.Rushailo with gratitude for comprehensive aid in carrying out the CIS’s Heads Summit on August 26, 2005, on the days of Kazan 1000th anniversary celebration.

On September 6, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev rewarded the medals “In the memory of Kazan 1000th anniversary” for significant contribution to socio-economic development of the city and preparations for the 1000th year from Kazan foundation.

On September 5, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and All-Russia State TV and Radio Broadcast Company “VGTRK” Director General Oleg Dobrodeev have come to an agreement to open one of the most advanced in Russia TV-Radio complexes on the base of a “VGTRK” branch.

On September 2, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev leaves for Leninogorsk, where on the 2nd and 3rd of September he will take part in the 50th anniversary of the town and 60 years from “Leninogorskneft” oil and gas producing company foundation.

On September 1, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev participated in the opening of new Ice Sport Palace in Naberezhny Chelny city.

Official opening of Federal motor-way section between Moscow and Ufa became the last event within RT President’s visit to Naberezhny Chelny.
