March 28, the Day of Europe will be held in Kazan. Annually during the last five years this day takes place in Moscow, last year festivity was organized in Sankt-Petersburg and Archangelsk. The initiators of the project mean to held the Day of Europe in three cities of Russia – Moscow, Sankt-Petersburg and Kazan.

Tatar State Academic Theatre n.a. M.Jalil prepares to take part in the XXVII Shalyapin International Opera Festival. It will be held in Kazan on February 7-20 and is devoted to 135th anniversary of permanent opera seasons in Kazan.
