Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev has met with the chairman of Russian Pension Fund Gennady Batanov at official residence in Kazan Kremlin. Perspectives of further cooperation between RF Pension Fund and the republic, and also the Year of Charity in RT have been discussed on the meeting.

The 68th season of Tatar Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after M. Jalil closed on July 19. Tatar composer Rezeda Akhiyarova’s opera “Love of the poet” was shown there.
