The programme of stay of the President of China Hu Jintao in Kazan in the context of a three day visit to Russia was finished with the meeting with RT President Mintimer Shaimiev.
The next destination point of the delegation headed by the President of China Hu Jintao in Kazan was the OJSC “Kazan Helicopter Plant”.
The Chinese guests viewed the plant workshops and the products.
On March 28 the Chinese delegation headed by the President of China Hu Jintao visited the Kazan Kremlin.

After the exhibition of Tatarstan commodity producers, the members of the Chinese delegation and head of the delegation President Hu Jintao visited Kazan State University. Waving Chinese, Russian and Tatarstan flags, students of Kazan State University welcomed the delegation. President Hu Jintao and President Mintimer Shaimiev talked with the students.
March 28, the delegation of the People’s Republic of China headed by President Hu Jintao visited the International horse-racing complex to see the exhibition of Tatarstan commodity producers prepared there for the distinguished guests. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev accompanied the Chinese leader.

On the evening of March 27, Boeing 747 landed at the Kazan International Airport bringing the delegation of the People’s Republic of China headed by HE President Hu Jintao. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials met the distinguished guest at the airport.
March 27, the Tatar State Academic Theatre n.a. Galiasgar Kamal celebrated 100 years of dramatic art. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev attended the gala evening dedicated to the event.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev received the delegation of Gagauziya and its head Mikhail Formuzal at his residence in Kazan Kremlin on March 21. Issues of developing cooperation between Tatarstan Republic and Autonomy-Territorial Formation Gagauziya (Gagauz Yeri) were discussed on the meeting.
