On April 3, RF President Vladimir Putin presented to RF Federal Assembly his state of nation message. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in a joint session of State Duma and council of Federation of the RF Federal Assembly.
Numerous congratulation telegrams addressed to Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev are still coming in.

Numerous congratulations addressed to Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev in connection with his re-election to the next term are still coming in.
On April 2, at the meeting of the RT State Council Presidium the date of extraordinary plenary session of State Council where М. Shaimiev for the third time officially will assume the office of President of the Republic of Tatarstan was determined. The official ceremony is to take place on April 12 in Kazan, in the RT Grand State Concert Hall.
On March 31, after the RT central election committee announced the official results of presidential elections in Tatarstan, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a talk over the telephone with Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev.
