President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev sent a congratulation on the occasion of holiday Uraza -Bairam to Chairman of Council of muftis of Russia, Chairman of Spiritual Board of Muslims of the European part of Russia, mufti sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, informs the press centre of RT President.

November 1, new diary factory “Edelveis-M” opened in Tatarstan. Its production volume is 1000 tones of milk per day. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and RF State Duma Deputy Airat Khairullin tore the symbolic strip at the opening ceremony.

On November 1, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev met with academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, scientific chief of Institute of Physics and Technology, Doctor in physico-mathematical sciences Kamil Valiev. Also in the meeting participated Mr.Valiev’s spouse Mrs. Venera Valieva, author of poetic translations from Tatar and German and RT President’s State Advisor on Science and Higher Education Sergei Diakonov. Mr. and Mrs. Valiev were awarded the medals “In the memory of Kazan the 1000th-anniversary”.

Today the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkish Republic in Russia Kurultush Tashkent took part in opening ceremony of chancellery building and Cultural center of General consulate of Turkish Republic in Kazan.

President of Tatarstan Mintimer ShaImiev today is visiting the southeast cities of republic - Almetyevsk and Bugulma. In the morning he took part in the first session of representative body of municipal formation "Almetyevsk municipal region where deputies had unanimously been elected the new head of region. His name - Rishat Abubakirov.

Yesterday at the session of RT State Council by overwhelming majority of voters the draft Treaty on differentiation of subjects of managements and powers between bodies of the government of the Russian Federation and bodies of the government of Republic Tatarstan has been approved. Before the deputies of republican parliament on this issue of the agenda spoke President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

On October 31, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev is visiting two biggest cities of South-East of Republic – Almetievsk and Bugulma.

October 27, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev welcomed the Head of Tatarstan in his metropolitan residence “Ak Orda”, where here awarded Mintimer Shaimiev the State Prize of Peace and Progress of the First President of Kazakhstan. N.Nazarbaev thanked RT President for contribution to friendly relationships between brotherly people of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan, to development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russian Federation, preserving peace and stability in multiethnic Republic of Tatarstan. “You are known, respected and valued in Kazakhstan. Relations between our republics reflect our relations with Russian Federation”, - said N.Nazarbaev.

October 26, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev left for Kazakhstan with a short visit. It is planned to have a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev and Kazakhstan Parliament Deputies.

October 25, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev signed the law of the Republic of Tatarstan, which amends the law of the RT “On state civil service of RT” correspondingly to annexes in federal legislation, RT President’s press-centre reports.
