The Co-Chairman of the Higher Council of the United Russia party, Mintimer Shaimiev, and the candidate running for deputy of the RF State Duma in Almetyevsk constituency № 23, Marat Magdeyev, held a pre-election meeting with electorate of Almetyevsk, Bugulma, Leninogorsk, Bavly, Sarmanovo, Yutazin districts in the settlement of Jalil on November 25.

On November 25 at the end of the sacred month of Ramadan, Muslims are celebrating Uraza-Bairam – one of the greatest Islamic holidays. Uraza-Bairam is farewell to the blessed days of Ramadan, summarising the results of the passed month when Muslims were given an opportunity to purify the mind, to be merciful, and devout.

November 20 saw the private meeting of Chairman of board RAO “UES of Russia” Anatolii Chubais and the RT President, Mintimer Shaimiev, who is on leave for the pre-election campaign period. The main power engineering specialist of the country informed the journalists of the fact that during the last 12 years the advice of the head of the RT had often helped him make well-weighted decisions.

RT President Mintimer Shaimiev received a telegram from the President of "Academy of Russian Television", Vladimir Pozner, and the President of National Association of TV & Radio Broadcasters, Eduard Sagalayev, with gratitude "for warm welcome and assistance in carrying out the final part of the Central section of All-Russia television competition TEFI-Region 2003 ".

November 18, there was a great opening of the sculptural composition “Architects of the Kazan Kremlin”. Co-Chairman of the Higher Council of the “United Russia” party Mintimer Shaimiev took part in this distinctive event.
The sculptural composition was designed by the group of the following authors: Alexander Golovachev, Vladimir Demchenco and architect Rustam Zabirov in 2001 and it was intended to be the monument in the name of the prominent white-stone masters – builders of the Kazan Kremlin.

Cultural-athletic sports centre “Kaleidoscope” named in public as “Aquapark” opened its doors on 14 November in Tatarstan.
It is important to note that almost each big European city has in its infrastructure a similar complex. On the whole there are 700 various complexes of the type world over. This Kazan project is planned to combine what in the city is located separately or is lacking – swimming pools, water hills, bath complex, centre of medical prophylactics and diagnostics, system of bistros and restaurants.

November 15, the Co-chairman of the Higher Council of the "United Russia" political party, Mintimer Shaimiev, sent greeting to participants of the V Congress of the social-political movement "Tatarstan - New Age".
"The Forum of the social-political movement "Tatarstan - New Age" takes place in a crucial period of the pre-election campaign. Results of the elections of deputies to the State Duma will determine alignment of political forces, and so, character of activity of federal and republican authority up to the end of 2007". This was said in the greeting announced at the congress by the Head of Administration of the RT President Ekzam Gubaidullin.

November 10 saw the grand ceremony of placing the capsule containing message to future generations take place in Nizhnekamsk, marking the official beginning of construction of the plant of deep oil refining. The Co-chairman of the Higher Council of the «United Russia» party, Mintimer Shaimiev, attended the event.
