Implementation of RF national project “Accessible and comfort housing” cannot be brought into life not demolishing dilapidated housing. President of Tatarstan stated so at the meeting with RF President’s Plenipotentiary Envoy in VFD Alexander Konovalov held in Kazan Kremlin

Republic Tatarstan has good starting points for the national projects implementation, - RF President’s Plenipotentiary Envoy in the Volga Federal District Alexander Konovalov stated, summing up the meeting’s results that was held today at Kazan Kremlin.

The Kazan Kremlin, the meeting between President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Governor of Krasnodar region Alexander Tkachev on issues of cooperation between Tatarstan and Krasnodar region.

Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev who is being on working trip at Kukmor region of the republic celebrating the 75-anniversary took part in official opening of newly constructed building of railway station at Kukmor town.

An official award ceremony took place on December 15, in Kazan Kremlin. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev delivered state awards of the Russian Federation and Republic of Tatarstan to deserved politicians, scientists, representatives of court bodies, healthcare and education, industry, civil construction and agriculture.

December 13, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev met with Chairman of RT Constitutional Court Viktor Demidov.

On December 14, an official delegation of Islamic Consultative Assembly (Medzhlis) of Iran headed by its Chairman Golam Ali Haddad Adel arrived in Tatarstan. The delegation included also Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Islamic republic of Iran to Russian Federation Golam Reza Ansari and deputies of Medzhlis. Meeting with Mintimer Shaimiev was held at RT President Residence.

December 9, 2005, by Decree of President of the Russian Federation V.V.Putin chief of department of Federal service of the Russian Federation on oversight of drugs traffic over Republic Tatarstan Ilgiz Marsovich Minullin was conferred a rank of general - major of police.

RT President took part in opening of new city trade-entertainment complex “Tandem”, which had gathered famous Russian brands, ready to provide their services at European level, underneath its roof.

On December 9, the anniversary concert dedicated to 50 years of Venera Ganeyeva, deserved artist of RF and RT was staged at M.Dzhalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre. President of Republic Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated her on a memorable date.
